Johanna’s journey into the spotlight began with a memorable appearance on “The Voice” Season 4, where her powerful vocals captivated the judges and earned her a spot moving forward to the ‘Blind Auditions’. Following this, she honed her craft by performing with cover bands across the United States, from the stages of Las Vegas to the  landscapes of North Carolina.

 

Her performances at weddings, corporate events, and festivals became synonymous with energy and passion, earning her a reputation as a sought-after live performer. Her performances, which have enchanted large audiences, blend her Colombian-American roots with a versatile repertoire in both Spanish and English.

Not content with merely sharing the stage, Johanna has also graced prestigious events, opening for luminaries such as Kamala Harris, Lil Kim and Sheila E.

 

Under the tutelage of esteemed mentors like Cassandra Claude of the University of Miami's Frost School of Music, as well as Kelly Garner and Beth Cohen, Johanna refined her artistry and expanded her musical horizons.

Driven by a deep-seated passion for nurturing the next generation of musicians, Johanna has dedicated herself to inspiring a love for music in children. Her commitment to music education was proven to extend beyond the stage, as she has served as a judge and clinician for the Dade County Youth Vocal Competition at Florida International University. 

In addition to her thriving music career, Johanna’s love for connecting with people led her to pursue studies in Psychology. This intersection of disciplines allows her to explore the profound connections between music, psychology, and human emotion, enriching her ability to help others discover and appreciate the transformative power of music.

Today, Johanna continues to share her talents with audiences across the state of Florida and now in Georgia, where she infuses her performances with infectious energy and heartfelt emotion.
